As part of our coordinated team support, our Advising Team is always available to listen to student concerns and to help solve the problems that may interfere with your academic success.
Our highly accessible faculty members are available to meet with students during regularly scheduled office hours and as arranged to fit a student’s schedule. To assist students with their studies, faculty also conduct live and videotaped review sessions.
One unique component of our supportive environment is our practice of giving midterm exams in many first-year courses, a rarity among law schools. Although these exams typically count for only a small percentage of the course grade, they provide students with an early assessment of their progress, and thus help reduce the anxiety associated with final exams during the first year. Faculty are always willing to review midterms with students, enabling them to diagnose problem areas prior to finals.
