To practice law in California, you must seek admission to the California Bar. Applicants enrolled in the LLM Program for American Legal Studies may be eligible for admission to the Bar after satisfying a number of requirements, including passing the multi-state professional responsibility exam, the state bar exam and character and fitness exam.
