International Tax & Financial Services

Thomas Jefferson School of Law offers a unique live-lecture online program for lawyers (LL.M.) and non-lawyers (J.S.M.) leading to specialized graduate degrees and certifications in 7 areas of concentrations in International Tax and Financial Services.

The Master's degree candidate requires eight courses to graduate, including the required Thesis and one elective course from a different concentration. Students in a tax concentration (International Taxation or United States Taxation) are required to select their elective course from a non-tax concentration, and students in a non-tax concentration are required to pick their elective course from a tax concentration

There are seven concentrations from which to choose from. They are:

  1. Bankruptcy & Restructuring
  2. Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering
  3. U.S. Taxation
  4. eCommerce
  5. International Financial Centers
  6. Financial Services & Wealth Management
  7. Trusts & Estate Planning

There is also an option to graduate without a concentration, allowing students to customize their courses. Please contact us at 619.961.4212 or llmprograms@tjsl.edu for a brochure and to discuss the program.
