Lalitha Rao

Lalitha Rao is an intellectual property attorney located in San Diego, CA and is admitted to the USPTO. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and technology licensing. She has represented and worked with entrepreneurs, early-stage companies, large companies and academic institutions and was recognized as a Rhode Island Super Lawyer - Rising Star Intellectual Property. Lalitha worked in the general counsel’s office of the University of Massachusetts, supporting research,  technology transfer and faculty literary and artistic endeavors. She has an engineering degree in Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and has worked as an engineer in the Silicon Valley. Lalitha loves the theatre and is a Board Member for Scripps Ranch Theatre. In her spare time, Lalitha enjoys spending time with her family, biking and exploring San Diego.
