Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s LL.M. programs are globally focused and on the cutting-edge academically. All three LL.M. programs have received ABA acquiescence.
TJSL offers three LL.M. (Master of Laws) programs, two of which give students expertise in important areas of international law, and one of which will make foreign students eligible to obtain a U.S. law degree.

Online Programs
Executive/Corporate Online Courses
Thomas Jefferson School of Law offers Continuing Education for business professionals. Candidates who successfully complete courses offered will qualify for certifications by ADIT and/or AAFM. Our highly-qualified, experienced instructors use state-of-the-art technology to deliver practice-oriented classes and case studies structured to provide program participants with the knowledge they need for successful careers in the international legal and/or business sectors.
The Master of Law (LL.M.) program is a one-year degree program for candidates who have already earned a J.D. degree. It includes students from around the globe who are interested in the International Tax and Financial Services industry.
The Master of Science of Law (J.S.M.) will provide candidates with the knowledge necessary to advance in the International Tax & Financial Services industry. The comprehensive curriculum is designed to equip its graduates with the skills needed to compete in today’s global marketplace and is specifically crafted for professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of legal studies.
The Doctor of the Science of Law (J.S.D.) program is Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s most advanced law degree. It is designed for legal academics who wish to pursue sustained independent study, research and writing.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s International Executive/Corporate Program offers an Introduction to International Business Practices and will also hone participant’s writing skills.
Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s LEEP Brazil Program is an innovative experience that provides academic and professional development through the debate and discussion of issues involving the defense of the state and strengthening of the democracy as well as the internationalization of law through globalization.
LL.M. in American Legal Studies
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in American Legal Studies is a one-year degree program for candidates seeking a U.S. law degree. It is designed for attorneys, judges, government officials, prosecutors, corporate legal counsel, bankers, and recent law graduates who have received their basic law degree outside the United States. These LL.M. students will be introduced to the U.S. legal system and, with advice from our faculty advisors and staff, they will be allowed to choose their own course of study from the extensive law course offerings at TJSL.
LL.M. in International Trade & Investment
The LL.M. in International Trade & Investment allows LL.M. candidates to take advantage of Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s growing international law curriculum and world-class faculty. This LL.M. in International Trade & Investment can serve candidates with either a foreign or U.S. law degree.
