Author Blames Former Presidents for Turning Blind Eye to Terrorism, Radical Islam

SAN DIEGO –- The author of a critical new book that points the finger at former President Clinton and some of his predecessors for a lack of resolve to fight the radical Islam that was one of the root causes of 9/11 spoke at Thomas Jefferson School of Law on
April 20. The public was invited to hear Vojin Joksimovich, who serves as vice president of the World Affairs Council in San Diego, discuss his new book Revenge of the Prophet: How Clinton and Predecessors Empowered Radical Islam, released in March.

Professor Cohn

Professor Cohn, who is president-elect of the NLG,
introduces Vojin Joksimovich.

This isn’t the first time that Joksimovich has been critical about U.S. foreign policy. In his 1999 book, Kosovo Crisis: A Study in Foreign Policy Mismanagement, he said the U.S. made faulty decisions and subverted international laws. Joksimovich has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology at London University. He was born and raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, where at the age of eight, he witnessed a Nazi bombing that instantly killed his family and left him as the sole survivor. He has written more than 125 professional papers on Balkan issues. He frequently contributes material to television, radio and print media and presents talks on foreign affairs worldwide.
