This course provides a theoretical and policy framework for considering the respective roles of institutional and individual responsibility. Also examined are the major federal statutes that are commonly invoked in corporate and white collar prosecutions. The areas covered include: corporate criminal liability, personal liability in an organizational setting, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, bribery of public officials, and work place death and injury.
