Advanced Technology Externship (SD 485)
This course will seek to provide students with (a) further work in an internship with a technology-oriented company, technology transfer office or law firm and (b) with an opportunity to work with a mentor on creating an article for publication in a practicing lawyer related journal, newspaper, newsletter, news paper or other such publication. Students can take the course for 1, 2 or 3 credits and for such credit they must work 5, 10 or 15 hours per week during the term in a placement and keep a daily journal. They must also present a PowerPoint presentation on their article to the Technology Law Externship 1 Class at the end of the term. This course is graded non-anonymously Honors, Credit, Low Pass, No Credit.
