Frederick Carrol graduated from Macalester College with degrees in philosophy and religious studies. He earned his J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law. Professor Carrol was a trial lawyer at Federal Defenders of San Diego from 2003-2006. In 2006 he went into private practice. He has defended criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to murder. He has tried cases to more than thirty jury verdicts with excellent results. Professor Carrol presently lives in San Diego and practices in state and federal courts throughout California.
