Nancy L. Vaughan is an attorney, licensed to practice in California. Following graduation from Law School, Ms. Vaughan served as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Diego, and as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Diego. After leaving the District Attorney’s office, she worked in the private practice of law in the Health Care field. Her civil practice included all aspects of healthcare litigation, including medical and dental malpractice, elder and dependent adult care litigation, veterinary malpractice, managed care and risk management.
Ms. Vaughan currently teaches Bioethics at California Western School of Law, and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She is a member of the American Society of Law, Medicine, and Ethics, and serves on the Bioethics Committee for Sharp Healthcare Foundation, and the County Bioethics Commission. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology. She is a licensed commercial pilot, licensed to fly single engine aircraft and rotorcraft-helicopters.
