After graduating from St. John's School of Law, Professor Vargas Wrosch clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge James F. Stiven in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.  Following her clerkship, she practiced law at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, LLP in New York City.  At Skadden, she worked with the Corporate Restructuring team and earned a Pro Bono Service Award for her work with Lawyer’s Alliance of New York and the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Clinic.  She then moved to San Diego, California and joined Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann, LLP, a Securities Fraud litigation firm.  Professor Vargas Wrosch has been a part of TJSL’s Legal Writing Program since 2007.
