Professor Delman has a varied background in civil litigation with an emphasis in medical malpractice. While at law school, she was editor of the American Criminal Law Review. After graduation she was selected for a judicial clerkship in Pennsylvania. Upon completing her clerkship, she worked in a large Philadelphia firm, where she specialized in medical malpractice litigation. Moving to San Diego, she joined the litigation department of the city’s largest law firm. Professor Delman became a member of the full-time faculty in 1983. She has served as faculty advisor to the Law Review, Student Health Law Association, and student chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Professor Delman alsoserved as counsel to a medical products corporation. She is a member of the American College of Legal Medicine. She was a national lecturer for a bar review and served on the Advisory Board of the Lawyer’s Alliance for Nuclear Arms Control. Professor Delman has been listed in Who’s Who in American Women.
