In the decade that followed, he worked as a corporate tax planner, helping privately owned and publicly traded companies structure their business operations and commercial transactions. He initially practiced at law firms in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., before joining the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers as an international tax manager in its national tax office. He joined the faculty of Thomas Jefferson in the fall of 2003 after launching a private consulting practice based in his hometown of New Orleans. Consistently active in civic matters, Professor Winchester completed his undergraduate studies at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
