Elective Course
Federal Criminal Law,
This course explores selected topics in substantive federal criminal law, focusing in particular on the federal law governing political corruption and extortion, organized crime and conspiracy, drug trafficking and money laundering, and mail and wire fraud. We will also review certain aspects of the federal Sentencing Guidelines, explore the constitutional limitations on federal criminal jurisdiction, and consider problems in the interaction of federal and state criminal law.
