WELCOME to Financial Assistance
Welcome to the Financial Assistance Office at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. The Financial Assistance staff is here to serve all your financial needs!
Professional Financial Assistance
Thomas Jefferson School of Law is proud to provide a service-oriented, professional, Financial Assistance Office to assist those students who are currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment, but whose financial resources are inadequate to meet the full cost of their education. The objective is to provide assistance to each student according to his or her needs, and in accordance with regulations, so that the student can focus on his or her law school education.
Personal Financial Counseling
At TJSL each applicant and student is provided a financial assistance counselor to arrange a package that is best suited for his or her personal needs. Students are given full and complete information concerning the various student aid programs that are available to them, provided they meet specific eligibility requirements. In counseling, students are informed that student aid is to be used for educational expenses only. Both direct and indirect educational expenses may be covered.
TJSL students are informed that it is their responsibility to complete their financial aid file and maintain contact with the Financial Assistance Office as requested in order to secure funding. The Financial Assistance staff is available to assist students throughout their enrollment at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
