Thomas Jefferson Professor Kevin K.J. Greene will be a distinguished panelist at the 10th Annual Chapman Law Review Symposium at Chapman University School of Law on Friday February 8, 2008.
The symposium is titled Publicity Rights in Bytes; contemporary Issues in Entertainment & Sports Law. Professor Greene will appear on the panel Publicity rights in Entertainment: From Second-Life to Afterlife.
The panel will discuss whether celebrities can protect their publicity rights in the virtual world of video games and also a case involving whether Marilyn Monroe had post-mortem publicity rights – among other legal topics which have emerged in this celebrity-obsessed age.
