TJSL’s ILS/AI To Host Monte Carlo Night on Sunday, April 9

The Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s International Law Society/Amnesty International is hosting its popular annual Monte Carlo Night fundraiser on Sunday, April 9, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Guests can look forward to a night of gambling with “fun” money in the accompaniment of their favorite TJSL professors, staff members and fellow students. More important, the purpose of the fundraiser is to help the ILS/AI raise scholarships for students interested in pursuing study-abroad opportunities.

Guests will also have a chance at winning some excellent prizes, including $2,000 in BarBri gift certificates, a trip to Laughlin, two-night stays at local hotels, a mp3 player, restaurant gift certificates, a date auction with a Thomas Jefferson student, and much more!

The ILS/AI is currently looking for various contributions in the form of raffle prizes, cash donations, or even a table sponsorship. A donation of $400 is required in order to sponsor a playing table and includes ten free tickets to the event. It also allows the sponsor to act as a guest dealer, and provides sign recognition on their playing table. A table can also be co-sponsored for $200 to receive five admission tickets and a table sign. Donations are tax deductible and contributions will be recognized in advertisements.

The event is open to the public and will be held in the Bayview Room at the Marina Village, located at 1936 Quivera Way in Mission Bay. More information on ticket sales will be announced shortly. Cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted. For any other questions, please send an e-mail to ils@tjsl.edu.
