Today’s Challenges for Multi-Jurisdictional Practice by Transnational Lawyers
Professor Robert E. Lutz II

Please join Professor Claire Wright in welcoming Professor Robert E. Lutz II from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. According to Professor Lutz’s bio, he is “one of legal education’s foremost authorities on public and private international law. . .” Professor Lutz will present on Friday, April 1, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Law Library Building, room 300.

Professor Lutz received his undergraduate degree from USC and his JD from UC Berkeley. His work experience includes being past chair of the Section of International Law and Practice of the ABA and chairing the international law sections of the AALS and Los Angeles County Bar Association. He began his legal career as a judicial clerk to Chief Judge Edward Schwartz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He has practiced with the firm of Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro and in 1978, he joined the Southwestern faculty.
