New Faces at Thomas Jefferson School of Law

SAN DIEGO-- Joe Bodine has joined Thomas Jefferson Jefferson School of Law as the Director of Academic Success, a new position. Bodine has been instituting the Cognitive Academic Protocol (CAP) program at the law school during the CLEO Summer Institute. The CAP is aimed to bring the science of learning into the classroom.

Professor Bodine is a former Ohio Senior Assistant Attorney General, in that office’s education section, as well as a former Chief Counsel of the Ohio Public Defender’s Office, where he managed more than 200 death penalty cases.

Former television news journalist and Sheriff’s spokesman
Chris Saunders joined the staff of Thomas Jefferson in May. Saunders is working in the Communications Department doing media relations.

“I’m very excited to be working with the world-class administration and faculty here at Thomas Jefferson,” Saunders said. “With all of the new innovations, this is a great time to be here,” he added.
