“This is one of my favorite events,”said Associate Dean Eric Mitnick, to the crowd that gathered the evening of November 4 for the annual Co-Curricular Reception. “This is where the vibrancy and the real energy is,” referring to TJSL’s student organization presidents and competition teams which were being honored.

“You are the leaders at this school and you contribute so much,” added Dean Mitnick.

Members of the Mock Trial, Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Moot Court teams all came forward for applause, pictures and praise.

Adjunct professor Paul Spiegelman, who coaches the ADR and Moot Court teams, said “It is a privilege to work with people who are so motivated.” Professor Spiegelman also gave a shout out to the Mock Trial Team, coached by adjunct professor Jane Siegel. Law Review Members and all student organization leaders present also came up for a kudos and photos.

The Courtyard reception, which featured a buffet of cheese and hors d’oeuvres as well as a wine bar, was a big hit.
