TJSL’s Armenian Law Students Association (ALSA ) sponsored a panel presented by California Ticket King on April 18.   Ticket King, owned and operated by the Law Offices of Hullinger and Speredelozzi, APC, provided students with the ins and outs of how the murky world of traffic tickets works.

One of the attorneys presenting at the panel, Scott B. Hullinger ‘08 commented that “our goal with this presentation was to give back to our legal community.”  The same sentiment was expressed by the other two presenters, Matthew Speredelozzi  ‘07 and Pablo Fabian ‘08.

The three TJSL alumni were happy to see such a strong turnout by the student body.  At the presentation, the Ticket Kings offered insight into how the traffic court operates, as well as providing tips and tricks on how to fight various charges.  For example, one of the most common ways to get out of a photo red light ticket is to see if the notice to appear was mailed to you within 15 days of the day in question.  It often is not, and that is one of the easiest and most common ways to get the whole ticket outright dismissed.

“Thanks goes to all who were involved and all who came out to participate,” said Vartkes Artinian of ALSA.  The presentation was video recorded, and a copy of the recording will be available for anyone interested but couldn’t make it.  The PowerPoint presentation is also available to all.  You can gain access to all if it by messaging “Alsa Tjsl” on Facebook or emailing artiniv@tjsl.edu.   Ticket King’s website is: www.CaliforniaTicketKing.com
