"We are totally booked,” said Red Cross volunteer Josh Roach. “You can’t ask for more – this is a great drive!”
When the American Red Cross Bloodmobile rolled up to TJSL on Thursday, September 6, all available appointments had been taken.
“I love giving blood – it’s good karma,” said Diana Malkin 3L. “You’re saving lives and it feels good.”
There were a few people who didn’t keep their appointments, so walk-up donors like Sara Leprowse 1L got to donate.
"I got an email and decided it would be a good thing to so,” she said.
TJSL’s annual blood drive, sponsored by Student Services, collected approximately 40 pints of blood to add to San Diego’s blood supply – something the law school can be very proud of!
