| September 21, 2006 Fall 2006 SBA Blood Drive a Success!
The Thomas Jefferson Student Bar Association Fall Blood Drive was a success! Thirty-five TJSL students extended their arms and donated their blood to the Red Cross staff and volunteers who were set up in the Student Lounge of the Courtyard Building on Wednesday, September 20. “I’m pleased that TJSL students have taken the initiative to help the community, the Red Cross and to save lives,” said the SBA’s Nichole Denton, the co-chair of the Blood Drive. “I’m really proud of our students.” Denton was first in line to roll up her sleeve as the drive began. The SBA is planning to hold its next blood drive on Wednesday, February 13, 2007, in the Student Lounge. “This one was pretty successful,” Denton said. “And the Red Cross people were wonderful.”
