TJSL Alumni Association to host Padres game outing and golf tourney
A Night Out at the Ballpark. The Thomas Jefferson School of Law’s Alumni Association welcomes the Thomas Jefferson community to a night of Padres baseball at Petco Park in downtown on Saturday, September 23, as the Padres make a run for the playoffs and play the Pittsburgh Pirates in their last home stand of the season. Game time is 7:05 p.m. A fireworks show will follow the game.
The tailgate party will start at 5:30 p.m. More specific tailgate information will be included when tickets are purchased through Alumni Relations. Just a limited amount of tickets are left. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased in the Alumni Relations Office at the 2147 Administration Building, or by calling (619) 297-9700,

A Day of Fun on the Golf Course. Thomas Jefferson’s Alumni Association is hosting their 11th Annual Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament on Friday, October 13, at the Coronado Municipal Golf Course. All playing levels are encouraged, from advanced to beginners, and even those who have never played before. The aim is simply to have fun and mingle with TJSL alumni, students and friends. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. the day of the tournament, with a shot gun start of 12:30 p.m.
The registration fee is $50 for TJSL students. The $50 fee includes a green fee, cart, goodie bags, a barbeque dinner and awards. The alumni fee is $90, and $110 for friends. For those who would like to attend the dinner only, the fee is $25.
The tournament will be in a “best ball” format. For those less experienced, two mulligans per player can be purchased at a minimal fee. Making your birdies is encouraged! However, no hacking is allowed. But heckling is welcome! Prizes and awards will be presented following the tournament.
