Author Who Blames Former Presidents for Turning Blind Eye to Terrorism, Radical Islam to Speak Here

SAN DIEGO –- The author of a critical new book that points the finger at former President Clinton and some of his predecessors for a lack of resolve to fight the radical Islam that was one of the root causes of 9/11 will speak at Thomas Jefferson School of Law here on Thursday, April 20. The public is invited to hear Vojin Joksimovich, who serves as vice president of the World Affairs Council in San Diego, discuss his new book “Revenge of the Prophet: How Clinton and Predecessors Empowered Radical Islam,” just released last month.

This isn’t the first time that Joksimovich has been critical about U.S. foreign policy. In his 1999 book, Kosovo Crisis: A Study in Foreign Policy Mismanagement, he says the U.S. made faulty decisions and subverted international laws. Joksimovich has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology at London University. He was born and raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, where at the age of eight, he witnessed a Nazi bombing that instantly killed his family and left him as the sole survivor. He has written more than 125 professional papers on Balkan issues. He frequently contributes material to television, radio and print media and presents talks on foreign affairs worldwide.

The TJSL student chapters of the International Law Society/Amnesty International (ILS/AI) and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) are hosting the Joksimovich event, which will be held in Room 200 of the TJSL Courtyard Building at 2120 San Diego Avenue.

For more information on this event, please contact the TJSL student chapters of the ILS/AI at ils@tjsl.edu or to the NLG at nlg@tjsl.edu. Thomas Jefferson School of Law, located near Interstate 5 in the historic Old Town district of San Diego, is fully accredited by the American Bar Association, the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
