Thomas Jefferson Professor Receives Award from San Diego County Bar Association
Professor Susan Tiefenbrun is this year's recipient of the San Diego County Bar Association's Award for Service to Legal Education.
Professor Tiefenbrun joined the faculty of Thomas Jefferson in 1999. Previously she was an adjunct professor at Hofstra University. She also continues to serve as the Director of Hofstra's Nice Hofstra/Nice International Law Program. In 2003, Professor Tiefenbrun was awarded the French Legion of Honor by Presidential Decree of the French government.
Professor Tiefenbrun teaches Business Planning, Securities Regulation, Corporations, International Business Transactions, International Intellectual Property Law and is the Director of Thomas Jefferson's Center for Global Legal Studies. She has published extensively in the areas of international human rights law, private international law, property law and intellectual property, and speaks regularly at conferences and seminars across the country and around the globe.
