CALI and Witkin Award Winners Announced

The CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and the Witkin Award winners for Spring, 2003 have been announced. Both awards recognize academic excellence by law students.

The Witkin Legal Institute, part of West Group publishers, honors the legal legacy of B.E. Witkin and his life-long commitment to advancing the understanding of California law. The Witkin award is available to California law schools accredited by the ABA or by the State Bar of California, and is given to the student attaining the highest grade in the course.

CALI is the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. The CALI award recognizes students who receive the highest grade in a course individuals using technology in legal education. The purpose of the award is to recognize academic excellence in legal education. Like the Witkin, the CALI award is available to California law schools accredited by the ABA or by the State Bar of California. In addition to the certificate awarded to the student, CALI also maintains a virtual award permanent web site that lists all the recipients, enabling potential employers to utilize the referral.

TJSL congratulates our award-winning scholars.
