Professor Arnold Rosenberg has announced that the students selected for the TJSL team in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, to take place March 17-19 at St. John's University in New York, are Christopher Hook, Omid Moezzi, and Theresa Segbers.

Professor Rosenberg also announced that at least six local bankruptcy attorneys, including the Chapter 13 Trustee for the Southern District of California, have already agreed to serve as judges for the TJSL team's practice rounds for the competition, and others may add their names to the list shortly.  Not only is the Competition a great way to develop skills in oral argument and brief writing, but it also can give students exposure to local practitioners in bankruptcy law.

Students who may be interested in competing in next year's Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition are welcome to sit in on the practice rounds as spectators, The practice rounds are scheduled to take place in the Moot Courtroom on Sunday afternoons from February 11 to March 11 between 4 and 6 p.m.  Other times may also be scheduled.
