The San Diego County Bar Association, which is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year, held a special Law Week Luncheon and awards ceremony on Friday May 4th.
Thomas Jefferson School of Law alumna Judge Lillian Y. Lim was honored as Outstanding Jurist by the SDCBA as part of their 2007 Service Awards.
TJSL was well-represented at the luncheon by students Stella Shih, Patricia Lee, Dana Chapnick and Joshua Larson, along with faculty administration and staff members Laura Weseley, Jeff Joseph, Thom Golden, Lisa Ferreira, Tom Spearman, Lori Wulfemeyer, Diana Mikesell, Karen Goyette and Chris Saunders.
Also honored was former United States Attorney Carol Lam, as Outstanding Attorney of the Year. Lam, who was recently forced to resign by the Justice Department, said that she fulfilled her mission as U.S. Attorney: “To uphold the integrity of the office.”
