TJSL Alumnus to be Honored as One of San Diego’s Promising Young Attorneys!
San Diego attorney and TJSL Alumnus Patrick J. Kearns is one of 33 Promising Young Attorneys being recognized by The Daily Transcript.
Kearns is an associate in the Professional Liability Department of Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck LLP. He specializes in civil litigation focusing on the defense of medical and dental professionals. Kearns' experience also includes administrative law matters involving the California medical and dental licensing boards, business litigation and employment law. Previously, he was an associate with Neil, Dymott, Frank, Harrison & McFall APLC. During law school, Kearns was a staff writer and literary editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and a competitor on the Thomas Jefferson Moot Court Society. He graduated from TJSL cum laude in 2005.
Kearns is being recognized, along with 32 other finalists, as one of the brightest up-and-coming players in the San Diego legal community. Nominations were made by other practicing attorneys and finalists were selected by an independent judging panel of legal experts. The 33 finalists were judged in several categories, including work ethic and organization; knowledge and enthusiasm; professional ethics; and commitment to furthering the interests of justice in society.
Each of the finalists has been practicing law for seven years or less and is licensed by the state of California or the federal patent bench.
