The Thomas Jefferson Board of Trustees has elected a new member, U.S. Magistrate William McCurine, Jr.
Magistrate McCurine is a native of Chicago, received his B.A. from Dartmouth College, studied at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and graduated from Harvard Law School.
Mr. McCurine was a partner at Gray, Cary, Ware & Friedenrich, and later at Solomon, Ward, Seidenwurm & Smith, before he was appointed to the federal bench in 2004.
He was named one of America’s best trial lawyers in 2001 and was presented with the Thurgood Marshall Award by the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association.
