Thomas Jefferson School of Law is pleased to have welcomed several new staff members over the past few months. Just in case you haven't yet had the opportunity to meet any of these new members of the TJSL community, here is a brief glimpse at each of these new staffers:

Nikki Love, Associate Director of Career Services, effective March 10, 2008
Nikki received her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson in May 2004, and served on the Alumni Association Board in 2007. She was most recently employed by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, where she provided legal assistance to clients with domestic violence issues. Nikki has also worked for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and was an Associate Attorney at Gates, O'Doherty, Gonter & Guy LLP, a civil litigation firm.

Khamsouk Sengpaseuth, Network Administrator, effective March 31, 2008
Khamsouk has extensive experience working in the Information Technology field. He was most recently employed by Wat Prakotam, a non-profit organization located in Thailand.

Kathryn Markey, Events Coordinator, effective March 18, 2008
Kathryn has worked for a variety of different industries, including banking and residential real estate development. She was most recently a Co-Owner/ Managing Partner of Empire Café, Ltd., a successful coffee house/restaurant, in Houston, Texas.

Angela Bayne, Assistant Director of Student Services, effective October 2007
Angela has been working for TJSL on a temporary basis since March 2007 and recently accepted her new position. Angela has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Management and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Counseling. Prior to joining TJSL Angela worked for San Diego Unified School District and the YMCA in Disability Services.

Vanessa Vandever, Director of Alumni Relations, effective February 1, 2008
Vanessa has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a minor in Native American Studies from Stanford University. She previously worked for the Stanford Alumni Association and was the Native American Program Manager for the Grand Canyon Trust where she worked with tribal, state and federal governments. Most recently, she was self-employed and managed a consulting business.

Pamela Balderamos, Financial Aid Assistant, effective February 19, 2008
Pamela previously worked for the Office of Academic Affairs at Hawaii Pacific University.
Hadas Livnat, TJSL Evening/Weekend Circulation/Reserve Librarian, effective January 7, 2008
Hadas has a JD from the New England School of Law and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State.
