The Admiralty Law Society (ALS) and International Law Society (ILS) present:
Who Owns the Oceans?
A Law of the Sea Primer.
April 15th, 2004, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in Room 201
The presentation will be by Captain Ed Dangler, Esq. (USN ret.). Captain Dangler will offer A historical perspective on the development of legal regimes for the oceans from the time of the Babylonians to the Law of the Sea Convention.
Also discussed will be an update on the U.S. Senate ratification vote on the Law of the Sea Treaty as now proposed by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
A free all-you-can-eat Italian buffet and bubbly will be provided.
