Professor Slomanson at MAAC Project 45th Anniversary Gala

Professor Bill Slomanson, his son Mike ‘04 and Adjunct Professor Marissa Bejarano attended the MAAC Project’s 45th anniversary celebration – “MAAC to the Future: A Legacy in Time” – on September 18, 2010, at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort.

For 45 years, MAAC has served San Diego’s disadvantaged and working-poor families serving as a catalyst to help individuals and families in need to become self-sufficient.

MAAC staffs 35 sites that provide empowering social services, health components, a state of art charter school, technology centers, economic development, and affordable housing.

Mike Slomanson is the MAAC Charter School’s Vice Principal in charge of compliance with regulatory and funding obligations. Professor Slomanson’s wife Ana was also at the event, along with Professor Bejarano’s father, Chula Vista Police Chief David Bejarano, who is a former TJSL trustee.
