Professor Luz Herrera and two TJSL students appeared at the East Village Association’s Business Breakfast on February 22 to help spread the word about the law school’s new Small Business Law Clinic (SBLC).

As the clinic’s director, Professor Herrera invited clinic students Jessica Farion and Matt Brock, both 3Ls, to speak to the group of business people and residents about what the clinic offers.

Farion explained the concept and basic services of the clinic and Brock elaborated on some of its benefits.

“No question is too small,” said Brock. “And the answers are free. We’re here to help you.”

The SBLC specializes in providing pro bono legal services to small business entrepreneurs who are not in a position to engage private attorneys to help incorporate, or other transactions a business person needs to do.

The new clinic is located at 495 11th Avenue on the west side of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law building.
