  • C.V. / professional résumé
  • If you received your college degree outside the United States, you must have your transcript(s) evaluated by a professional evaluation service to make sure you have the equivalent of a U.S. undergraduate degree. The Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) offers a Credential Assembly Service to evaluate your transcript. The residential LL.M. programs require the LSAC report.

     

    L.M./J.S.M./J.S.D. applicants can submit originals of all previous academic transcripts (translated and evaluated) directly to:

  • Professional letter of recommendation

  • Statement of purpose (500 word minimum, attached as a MS Word doc)

  • All J.S.D. applicants must submit a draft dissertation proposal. J.S.D. applicants previously enrolled in the LL.M. or J.S.M. program at Thomas Jefferson need not submit letter of recommendation, statement of purpose, and transcripts that were previously submitted.
