Professor Alex Landon teaches Criminal Law. He is a leading figure in the San Diego criminal defense and criminal justice litigation community. He is a member and past president of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association; member and former president of the San Diego Criminal Defense Lawyers Club; the past president of the San Diego Psych-Law Society; a member of the Board of Governors and past president of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice; and the former Executive Director of the Defenders Program of San Diego Inc., and Community Defenders, Inc.

Professor Landon is currently in private practice, and was a Certified Specialist, Criminal Law, California Board of Legal Specialization from 1977 to 2017. In addition to teaching at Thomas Jefferson, he has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law and at San Diego Law School, Alliant University. He is a frequent seminar and workshop speaker.
