Brandon Bruce
Brandon S. Bruce, Esq., LL.M. is an accomplished attorney, educator, and community advocate with almost two decades of experience in federal regulatory law and civil rights litigation. Brandon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from La Salle University in 2005, where he was a recipient of the La Salle Mission Grant. Brandon went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2008, where he was awarded the prestigious Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship (Full Tuition) and the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service. Brandon furthered his legal education by earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Law from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2012, graduating with distinction.
During law school, Brandon gained valuable judicial experience as an Extern for the Honorable Theodore A. McKee at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where he researched and reviewed memoranda, motions, and briefs, observed oral arguments, and drafted non-precedential opinions and bench memos for the Court. Following graduation, Brandon served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Frederica Massiah-Jackson at the First Judicial District: Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for one year. Presently, Brandon has extensive federal service at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Tobacco Products as a Regulatory Counsel. In this capacity, Brandon assists in developing regulations and compliance initiatives related to the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, conducts legal research for regulatory documents, and consults with staff at all levels of the Agency. Brandon has significant teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University Japan, where he taught International Law, Basic Primer on Contracts, Introduction to Paralegal Studies, and Persuasive Legal Writing. Brandon’s pedagogical approach combines practical and professional perspectives with hands-on activities designed to enhance student comprehension of complex legal frameworks.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brandon is the Founder and Chairman of the Terrell L. Bruce Memorial Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in January 2017. The Memorial Fund provides scholarship opportunities to students from economically, socially, or culturally disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate a longstanding commitment to community service and academic excellence, and supports causes including animal rescue and civic engagement.
