Prof. Logan has been practicing law for 29 years and been a prosecutor since 1999. He started at the San Diego City Attorney’s Office where he handled special projects and domestic violence cases. Since joining the San Diego District Attorney’s Office in 2004, he has handled a large variety of cases including special circumstance murders, CAPO and Arson cases in Vista, and was in the Gang Prosecution Division, Felony Trials Team Leader, and Major Narcotics Division Team Leader. He has been in the Special Operations Division since 2022, where he focuses on investigating officer involved shootings and crimes committed by law enforcement personnel. He is also the co-coordinator of the office’s Brady Index.

At Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Prof. Logan serves both as a member of the Board of Trustees and an Adjunct Professor.
