Edmond Aruffo, Esq. is a retired U.S. Naval Officer with experience teaching at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and the University of San Diego.  Post Cambridge, Professor Aruffo worked as an Executive with Barclay’s Bank at their London headquarters, as a Defense Contractor with Glenn Defense Marine, Japan, and Northrop Grumman’s Fire Scout and Global Hawk Unmanned Aerial Systems Divisions.  He currently sits on the steering committee of the Southern California chapter of the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Association.  He is the Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Edmond Aruffo, a firm based in San Diego, which primarily focuses on Criminal and Personal Injury Law.

Professor Aruffo regularly lectures in the areas of Federal Criminal Practice and Bar Exam passage, including as a guest lecturer for the Judge Earl B. Gilliam Foundation, and at La Faculté de Droit des Sciences Economiques et de Gestion in Nice, France as part of the Summer Abroad Program.

Authorship: 

Professor Aruffo is the author of the perennial Amazon #1 Best-Sellers Bar Exam Essay Rules, a guidebook for passing the California Bar Exam, and the Big Book of California Bar Exam Essay Writing.  Additionally, he co-authored the Practitioner's Edition of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, and Criminal Procedure: Adjudication, Cases and Materials, published for the courses Federal Criminal Practice and Adjudicatory Criminal Procedure, respectively, taught at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
