Nicole D’Ambrogi
Nicole D’Ambrogi is an experienced attorney and adjunct professor based in San Diego, with nearly 12 years of practice in estate planning, trust administration, and probate. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Professor D’Ambrogi has built a distinguished career around serving individuals, families, and veterans throughout California.
Since joining the adjunct faculty at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2019, Professor D’Ambrogi has played an integral role in expanding and strengthening the school’s clinical programs. She currently serves as the Supervising Attorney and Director of the Clinical Programs, where she oversees the Veterans Legal Clinic, as well as the law school’s growing portfolio of limited-scope legal clinics. In recognition of her leadership, she was named Adjunct Professor of the Year in 2020 for her seamless transition to remote clinical instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that client services and student education continued without disruption.
Her commitment to mentorship and community-centered legal education is rooted in her own journey, which began as a student volunteer in the Veterans Legal Clinic in 2012. Professor D’Ambrogi has also been recognized with several honors for her pro bono service and advocacy, including the California State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award (2015), the Women’s Resiliency Award from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (2015), and the Trailblazer Award from the California Department of Veterans Affairs (2016).
