Nicole D’Ambrogi is a distinguished attorney based in San Diego. A “Rising Star” with just over six years of experience, Professor D’Ambrogi has already built a name for herself in estate planning and probate law and has garnered a reputation as a staunch advocate for veterans. A former member of the U.S. Navy, her private practice focuses on comprehensive estate planning, veteran benefits, and estate administration. Among numerous other honors, Professor D’Ambrogi has received the California State Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 2015, Women Resiliency Award by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs in 2015 and the Trailblazer Award from the California Department of Veteran Affairs in 2016.

Professor D’Ambrogi joined the Thomas Jefferson School of Law adjunct faculty in Fall 2019. She is the supervising attorney and professor of the Veterans Legal Clinic. Professor D’Ambrogi has a long history of participation within the clinic. She began working in the veteran’s clinic in 2012 as a student. After graduation, Professor D’Ambrogi continued participating in the self-help clinic as a volunteer attorney and provided pro-bono legal representation to veterans throughout the state of California through her own private practice.
