TJSL Dean Announces Fitness Club Membership for All
September 22, 2010
“With the relocation of the School to the East Village area and consistent with the desire to create a healthy life style and environment for members of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law community, I am pleased to announce that all students, staff, and faculty members will have a membership at Fit, one of the top fitness centers in the San Diego area, located just two blocks from the new law school facility, at the Diamond View Towers, 350 10th Avenue,” says TJSL Dean Rudy Hasl.
“It consists of 46,000 square feet of exercise space, a swimming pool, saunas and showers, and has been rated the number one athletic club in San Diego. More information can be obtained at www.fitathletic.com. The facility is the equivalent or superior to the recreational centers that exist at many University-based law schools.
Starting in January of 2011, membership cards will be issued to students, faculty, and staff. The card provides access to the facility and includes a discount program for over 200 local businesses in San Diego, giving discounts up to 20 percent off purchases.
In addition to the student, faculty, and staff benefit, each member may make arrangements for up to two family members to obtain memberships at a reduced rate of $75 per month, without the payment of the normal initiation fee.”
