TJSL Well-Represented at the South Asian Bar Association Dinner

The South Asian Bar Association of San Diego recently held its annual dinner. The dinner was emceed by current President Pratik Shah (’12), a partner at D’Egidio, Licari Townsend & Shah. This year’s dinner, held at the Royal India Banquet Hall, saw the largest attendance in SABA’s history. The guest speaker was Ahilan Arulanantham, Senior Counsel at the ACLU of Southern California. He spoke about the immigrant experience of his parents and his work on today’s immigration issues.
Other prominent TJSL alum in attendance included Peter Quon (’77), San Diego County District Attorney, who also sponsored four TJSL students to attend. Also attending was former SABA President Kris Mukherji (’12), The Law Office of Kris Mukherji. Two recent TJSL Judicial Mixer honorees, Srinivas Hanumadass (’03), former SABA President, Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield LLP, and current San Diego County Public Defender Randy Mize (’86) were seen. Anna Romanskaya (’07), Stark & D’Ambrosio, LLP and current Vice-President of the SD County Bar Association Board and Danna Cotman (’96), Arc Law IP and current President of the Lawyers Club also attended.
