Thomas Jefferson School of Law Appoints Linda M. Keller as President and Dean
July 1, 2025

Following the sudden loss of President and Dean Dawn Dekle, the Board of Trustees of Thomas Jefferson School of Law has appointed former Dean Linda M. Keller to serve as President and Dean effective immediately. Dean Keller brings over five years of experience as Dean at the Law School and over twenty years of experience on the faculty. She is well-positioned to continue to serve the Law School in this expanded role as President and Dean.
“I am honored to build on the achievements of Dawn Dekle as President and Dean,” Dean Keller stated. “I look forward to working with the Board, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to further the important mission of the Law School.”
Dean Keller first joined the faculty in 2003 and has served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean and Dean. The Board of Trustees highlighted Dean Keller’s dedication to the Law School over the years and her exemplary efforts in support of the school. As we move forward into a new academic year, the Board expressed its confidence that she will serve as President and Dean with the same commitment to excellence and to fostering community she has brought to all her work at the Law School and beyond.
