TJSL Among Top 20 Most Innovative Law Schools
August 22, 2012
Thomas Jefferson School of Law has been named as one of America’s 20 “Most Innovative Law Schools” in preLaw Magazine’s back to school issue, as well as its sister publication, National Jurist.
In the article, the magazine calls TJSL “perhaps the most technologically advanced school in the world.”
TJSL’s Dean Rudy Hasl is particularly proud of the honor.
“I am pleased to see that the School is being recognized as a leader within legal education nationally for its creativity and innovation,” said Dean Hasl. “It reinforces the recognition which the School received by hosting the ABA Bricks and Bytes Conference in March and the CALI conference (Conference for Law School Computing) in June.”
The article points out that Thomas Jefferson is the first to switch to cloud computing, which allows faculty and staff to access their desktop and files from any computer in the building, and that TJSL has an extensive distance learning program.
PreLaw has also ranked Thomas Jefferson among its top schools for student housing availability at number 13.
TJSL offers 172 units of student housing a block from campus at Entrada.
