Congratulations to our graduate Mattias Luukkonen (JD ’02), who has recently accepted a position as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Ansun Biopharma, Inc. Here is his bio on the firm website:
Mattias Luukkonen, J.D., Ph.D., Chief Legal Officer & Secretary: Mattias Luukkonen joined Ansun as its Chief Legal Officer and Secretary in January 2020. Prior to Ansun, Mattias was Vice President and General Counsel at IntegenX, Inc., where he oversaw all legal operations until the company’s successful acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Before joining IntegenX, Mattias was a corporate associate at Baker & McKenzie and DLA Piper, where he focused his practice on technology transactions in the life science industry, venture capital financings, M&A and corporate governance. Mattias earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Karolinska Institute School of Medicine and the European Molecular Biology Institute.
