Facts & Figures About Our New Campus
TJSL is “going for the gold” -- Gold Level certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program. This will make TJSL one of only a small number of law schools to achieve this status.
The 305,000 square foot facility is ultra-modern, technologically cutting-edge and unique among American law schools. It features “smart classrooms”, outdoor terraces for the students, a living “green wall” and will soon feature a café and a legal clinic.
The campus is situated within walking distance of San Diego’s thriving Gaslamp Quarter as well as close to all of the downtown courthouses and law firms. It also stands a block from the site of San Diego’s new Central Library that is now under construction.
The design and architecture of the new TJSL are meant to be welcoming and friendly to everyone who sets foot in the building – with touches of whimsy as counterpoint to the serious business of training lawyers.
Our new campus is a fitting home for a law school that is innovative, student-centered and blazing trails into emerging areas of law globally.
